This is frustrating. As an American, I want Europe to succeed, but how can western and central Europeans be acting like clueless complacent little children when a close by hostile power has launched a war of invasion closer to them than the distance between NYC and LA? I actually have little faith in the marginal or median voter of any country but why are European elites not acting like their country is under attack? Not just cutting through the swath of regulations but launching a full-on propaganda campaign to win hearts and minds? Sending influencers to Ukraine? Heck, authorize the EU to form foreign legions for service in Ukraine?
